Dr. Naiem earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Israel. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the UCLA.

He trained in cardiology at West L.A. Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. He has Board certifications in Internal Medicine and Cardiology (cardiovascular disease).

He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Naiem is fluent in Farsi and Arabic. Dr. Naiem's special interests include preventive cardiology, nuclear cardiology and all modalities of echocardiography, including transesophageal imaging.
